Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive all repair orders from the dispatcher and take them to the stall area.
• Perform work as outlined on the repair order with accuracy and efficiency while following all dealership and factory standards.
• As authorized, perform repairs after having successfully diagnosed the problem.
• Obtain needed parts through communication with the Parts Department.
• Tag and save parts for turning in if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
• Advise the service advisor of schedule changes, like if work cannot be completed in the given time, if more work is needed, or if outlined work is not needed.
• Document all work performed.
• Make sure customer complaints are addressed fully with road tests.
• Perform quality checks on work performed.
• Got to all assigned training classes.
• Keep yourself up-to-date with all the latest factory technical bulletins.
• Make sure that the customer’s vehicle stays clean throughout the service or repair.
• Administer all safety and housekeeping policies and procedures.
• Be aware of and follow all guidelines and regulations regarding service and repair work, whether they be local, state, or federal.
